The Name. The Pun. The Fun Ahead.

  Why did we choose Fine & Dandy Farm? Well, if you know me (Liz) I really enjoy the underlying meanings of things. Especially when you can make a pun or a smile any time you say a word or phrase and no one else gets it. Growing up my sister and I watched old musicals that most do not watch any more. 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. I bet 1 out of 5 of you reading this have watched that movie. How about the song "I Will Always Love You"? You are saying that is Whitney Houston's song. Nope, you are wrong. Dolly Parton wrote it and sang it in a little movie of hers. In that movie (to be said in a minute), the song "Hard Candy Christmas" was also sang by Dolly's character. That song says that "I will be fine and dandy. Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas. The First Post of the New Farm

 While, I have posted this on Facebook, I have decided to start this blog with the posts.  The first two posts will be straight from the Facebook Feed.  Then, I will start here. :) November 18th, 2020 Why did we choose this name for the farm? I will try to explain in a few different posts over the next couple of days. Today is the property! First, the house itself is an old one room schoolhouse that has been redone into a 3 bedroom home with a kitchen that I am so thankful for and an office in the add on. Oh, and the porch! The front porch is so great! The porch faces east. Sunrises and the moon coming up have been amazing so far. Katelyn made the mention about getting lost in the stars last night. Our family is super excited to be in this home. Second, the barn or as the listing said "a 4 car garage". The barn does have garage style doors that open.
